Artist Profile: Edibrain
I'm Edibrain, an uprising artist from Volta Region, Ghana. I started music in senior high school, but officially began my music career in 2019. My genres of choice are hip-hop, Afrobeat, and more.
Background and Inspiration
Music became a part of my life when my friends motivated me to pursue it after witnessing my freestyling skills. I see myself as a preacher of motivational speech through music, which drives me to continue creating.
Musical Influences
My biggest musical influences in Ghana and internationally are Kwesi Arthur and Drake, respectively.
Creative Process
I draw inspiration for my songs from spending time with friends and family, understanding their experiences, and channeling those emotions into my music.
Challenges and Aspirations
My biggest challenge is financial constraints. I aspire to collaborate with reputable record labels, prioritizing mutually beneficial agreements. In the next 5-10 years, I envision myself performing on international stages.
Hobbies and Interests
Apart from music, I enjoy riding bikes.

I have a new motivational drill song set to release in early March and an upcoming show in Ho, Ghana.
